An innovative use of ceramic tiles embedded with the image of a towering oak tree and brief, favorite quotes submitted by patients, staff, and family — located outside the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital Dialysis Unit.

ArtsCare artists Jennifer Smith, Susan Shumway, Leetra Taylor, and Mary Van Denend worked with patients in Dialysis and staff in Cardio-Vascular to help create wonderful, whimsical fish for the 2009 Da Vinci Days Community Art Project.

A stunning wall of glass and tile mosaics along a high-traffic outdoor breezeway between Physical Rehab and the main hospital building at Good Samaritan. This three-phase project was completed with lively participation from the hospital community and beyond.  Passersby were delighted  to place one tile or two or twenty…
