Dialysis — one on one work with patients during treatment, offering arts & crafts and therapeutic writing
Mental Health — Group work (with therapists present) using a wide range of mediums and emphasizing process over product
Harpist on the Wards — a Moveable Feast of music as harpists travel among floors 2 – 4 and at bedside
Cardio-Vascular Dept — our newest unit of service, providing art projects for team-building and self-care for staff and patients
Artists & Musicians — weekly evenings of arts & craft projects for patients, family members, and staff alternating with a variety of musical evenings, including sing-along to familiar tunes.
Beginning July 2012, ArtsCare musicians will rotate each week offering harp, viola, guitar, piano, and voice. Artscare Musicians are Kathy Morris, Julie Davis, Lorraine Anderson, and Tiah Swanson
Dialysis — one on one work with patients during treatment, offering arts & crafts and therapeutic writing
Cardiac Rehab & Infusion — harpist plays weekly in both units, music from Johnny Cash to Celtic lullabies.
Music in Waiting Areas — patients awaiting treatment listen to soothing viola or voice & guitar from our highly skilled musicians
Shodo — beautiful Chinese calligraphy taught as meditation and art form by a retired oncologist (quarterly or by request)
Monthly classes in ceramics with ArtsCare Artist, Terry Inokuma, and a broad range of visual arts for adults with physical disabilities and/or memory loss — emphasis is on creative play, self-confidence, and community building among participants.
Monthly ceramics and painting classes with ArtsCare Artists, Holly Dubrasich and Lucy Johnson.
