Six-Week Workshops: From Surviving to Thriving
Six-Week Workshops: From Surviving to Thriving

The flagship of our workshop offerings, this art-centered program for cancer survivors and caregivers is now in its 6th year! Each week participants create a personal art piece around a theme chosen for its symbolic relation to concerns often expressed by those who have experienced cancer, whether recently or years ago. Skilled ArtsCare artists serve as teachers for each week of the six-week series. Journaling, poetry, and music are all part of the rich make-up of these popular workshops. Facilitated by ArtsCare Program Coordinator Mary Van Denend.  “Thrive” is offered free of charge three times a year. Check our website for details on dates and location.
