Each piece, originally carved and sculpted by hand, is individually
hand-cast and -burnished in a composite material developed by Steve.
They are durable and can be hung inside or outside in any weather.
Steve adds:
"I grew up surrounded by nature here in the Pacific Northwest, and have always enjoyed the company of crows and ravens...which is fortunate, because they¹re everywhere! From the summit of Mt. St. Helens to Oregon¹s world-class beaches to the giant firs right here next to my studio where I could hear them conversing while sculpting the originals in clay for this line.
My favorite crows are the big handsome ones that strut self-importantly about, full of bright eyed cleverness and curiosity. With a winsome sidelong gaze they look right back at me looking at them; a look which I¹ve attempted to capture in this series."
