Herman Krieger — photography

Herman Krieger of Eugene is a photographer with a great sense of humor, and an eye for the unexpected. Krieger has a talent for finding interesting juxtapositions of subjects, which he arranges in interesting photo essays. His work tends to deal with human relationships, persons in their own environment. It is interesting to see that for the Far Away, July 201 exhibit he even found a humanizing aspect in train engines: the "Train Hospital.”

A book has been published with one of Krieger’s photo essays, titled  “Churches ad Hoc”, for sale in The Arts Center’s Art Shop.

Krieger is a member of the PhotoArts Guild in Corvallis and Profoto’s in Ohio.
