Artist's Statement: If Not, Winter. - 'Portals,' Winter Show & Silent Auction, 2011:

     photographs transferred to canvas, 10" x 10" each

For this project, I am working on altering a particular photograph with regards to the virtual world as a portal for human longing. 

Biography:

Beverly Nelson, writer/artist, earned her MFA from The School at the Art Institute in Chicago. As a writer and performance artist, she's been active both in Oregon and Chicago over the past six years. Currently she lives in Portland, Oregon and teaches online writing courses out of the art department at Oregon State University.
