Judith Sander uses mixed media to draw her scenes of birds, people, flowers and memories. Her work has a hidden narrative. She combines oil stick drawing with collage.
Artist's Statement, 'The Gateway into the Realm of Inversion' - 'Portals,' Winter Show & Silent Auction, 2011:
"Looking into a mirror is like looking into another world. The truth comes forward along with self-realization and wisdom. It can be a gateway into the mysterious self and an illumination into the soul.
Looking into a mirror can sometimes make a person want to step into this other world and be someone else or shy away from the obvious.
Looking into a mirror can be a gateway into the realm of inversion as well as enlightenment."
