What a
fabulous summer camp weve had!
Campers
attended four half- or full-day week-long sessions focused
on Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and Southern Asia.
They sculpted elephants, maracas, and Taj Mahals out of clay;
painted and drew and collaged; wrote haiku and learned about
endangered species and conservation. They cooked food from
Ethiopia and experienced African drumming; performed a South
African Boot Dance at da Vinci Days and explored virtual travel
at the library; painted kolams on the sidewalks and practiced
tradition South Indian dance and music. Browse the photo sampling
of our campers in action below.
